Gary E. Moschgat, 61, R.D. Ashville, died January 2, 2020 at home from an apparent heart attack. Born December 15, 1958 in Altoona, son of Gerald and Dory (Tremel) Moschgat. Preceded in death by father. Survived by his mother of Cresson, wife of 38 years, the former Lori Machiarola whom he married February 14, 1981 in Coupon, sons; Justin of Harrisburg, and Chris of R.D. Ashville. Brothers; Jerry (Laura Latterner) of Ebensburg and Tim of Lilly, niece, Megan, and nephews, Jeff (Courtney), Jack, and Nick. Also survived by numerous aunts and uncles. Gary enjoyed going to camp and hunting in Potter County. He was a member of Owego Hunting Club in Potter County, Mt. Top Sportsmen, Coupon and Bens Creek Social Club. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Monday and from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613. Enjoyed many good times with Gary at camp. He was pleasant to all, fun to be around and dedicated to the success of Camp Owego. His energy and enthusiasm will be missed. Our sympathy and prayers for the family. Jill and Jim.
