Ella J. “Judy” Carroll, 89, of Chest Springs, died April 23, 2024. She was born October 8, 1934, in Glen Daniel, WV, daughter of the late Dalton and Delila (Brooks) Claypool. Preceded in death by husband Joseph L. Carroll on February 10, 2008, sons: David Martin “Duff” and Michael Lee “Goob”, sister, June Pinson, and brother, James Claypool. Survived by children: Joseph (Celine) Carroll, Christine (Kevin) Beltowski, Cathy Karlheim, Mary Lynn Carroll (Randy Dubetsky), and Patrick “Boo” Carroll, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sister, Nellie McConnell. Judy enjoyed family get-togethers and camping. She had worked as a school bus driver for Cambria Heights School District for many years. Member of the Ashville VFW Auxiliary and St. Monica Catholic Church. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
