Wilda Ball, 69, of Coalport, died April 7, 2023, at UPMC Altoona Hospital Emergency Room. Born September 2, 1953, in Spangler, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Grace (Bartlebaugh) Dotts. Preceded in death by husband, Wayne G. Ball Sr. on April 12, 2020, son, Wayne Jr. on June 4, 2008, and brother, William Dotts. Survived by daughters: Sherry “Suzie” (Mike) Potter of Blandburg, and Donna Ball of Coalport, 6 grandchildren: Alicia and Michael Potter, Linsey Ball, and Cheyenne, Jasmine and Savannah Sacolic, a great grandson, Cooper Potter, sister, Frances “Sue” (John) Carter of Madera, special friend, George “Red” Waite, and several nieces and nephews. Wilda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially her great grandson, who was the apple of her eye, she also enjoyed fishing, riding the 4-wheeler, and spending time at the Central Hotel with friends and was the life of the party. She retired as a certified nurse’s aid in 2019 from Skills of Central PA. Wilda was a member of the Coalport VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a social member of the Smithmill VFW. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday and from 10:00 AM until time of remembrance at 11AM Tuesday will be held at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627
