Wayne Krug, 61, Ashville, died October 23, 2021 at UPMC Altoona from COVID 19 complications. Born October 5, 1960 in Spangler, son of the late Charles and Alice (Johnston) Krug. Survived by wife, the former Karen Lynch, whom he married May 24, 2003 in Karthaus, children; Kaitlyn Myers, Jeremy Krug, and Elyssa Krug, grandson, Brayden Krug, his dog, Spirit, brothers and sisters; Luanne (Michael) Buck, Kevin Krug (Darlene Gillette), Elaine Weber, Jody (Teresa Haid) Krug, and Jacob (Sarah Colian) Krug. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Brayden, going to camp and bear hunting. He worked as a journeyman in the sheet metal union, Local 19, for over 20 years. Member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday, Rev.
