Virginia S. “Jean” Adams, 89, of Coupon, died March 23, 2023 at Just Like Home Personal Care, Cresson. Born December 1, 1933 in Coupon, daughter of the late Thomas W. and Matilda (Holmberg) Delozier. Preceded in death by husband Lewis P. “Lew” on December 18, 2020, brothers: Paul Delozier and Edward Delozier, and sisters: Catherine Ball and Gladys Waksmonski. Survived by children: Deb (Dan) Lipple and Jim (Denise) Adams, all of Coupon, 2 grandchildren: Maureen (Brian) Jacobs and Anthony (Amber Pyo) Lipple, 5 great grandchildren: Valerie, Zachary, Caroline, Anthony, and Grace, sister-in-law, Joan Adams, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was the last member of her immediate family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching soap operas on television. She had worked for Sylvania and C-COR in Altoona for many years. Jean was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic church, Coupon. She is a member St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, Rev. Albert Ledoux, Celebrant. Committal, St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon.
