Thomas E. Morrison ll, 71, of Irvona, passed away November 7, 2023, at home after a brief illness surrounded by family. He was born June 13, 1952, in Philipsburg, son of Thomas E. and Donna M. Kitchen. Preceded in death by father, infant son Thomas lll, and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother of Irvona, his wife of 47 years, the former Deb Schenk whom he married June 12, 1976 in Altoona, daughter, Kristen (Andy) Nardelli, son, Tom Morrison, grandsons, Logan Morrison and Devon Nardelli, sister, Karen (Ray) Warfield, brothers: Jon (Pam) Morrison and Donald (Amy) Morrison, a couple aunts, numerous nieces and nephews, and his loving dog Maya. Tom served in the US Army reserves for 6 years. He enjoyed taking Maya for rides on his side by side and vacationing. He retired from SCI Houtzdale in 2017. Member of the Coalport Masonic Lodge # 574, and the Jaffa Shrine, Altoona. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Thursday and from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM Friday, at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St. Coalport, PA 16627, Rev. Zab Amar officiating. Committal, St. Basil Cemetery, Coalport. There will be a Masonic Service and a Prison Honor Guard Service Thursday.
