Thomas Arden Holmberg, 72, of Altoona, passed away October 12, 2024. He is survived by his brother Joseph and his wife Nancy, and sister Karen and her husband Bob. He is also survived by his three daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Chad, Stacey and Eric, and Jennifer and BJ. His greatest joy was being a Father to his girls and then getting promoted to Grandfather, or “Pappy Tom”. His grandchildren are Carmen, Lance, Ireland and Brayden and his granddog, Nittany. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and Penn State fan. On Saturdays during the Fall you could find him with his family watching Penn State Football cheering the Nittany Lions. He also enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with his brother Joe and sister-in-law, Nancy. He also enjoyed playing softball, bowling, golfing, fishing, hunting and American history. He was also a champ at Name That Tune! He will be sorely missed by us all. At the request of our father there will be no public services. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at St. Theresa's, Father Kelly Hall, 2412 5th Street, Altoona, PA. This will be "Tom's Tailgate Party", please dress casual and feel free to wear your Penn State gear or blue and white.
