Thelma R. (Yingling) Holmberg

Thelma R. Holmberg, 91, formerly of Coupon, died November 22, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. Born October 9, 1930 in Altoona, daughter of the late Paul and Daisy (Girard) Yingling. Preceded in death by husband, Arden on June 6, 1995, sisters; Barbara Bailey and Pauline Brubaker. Survived by children; Thomas, Joseph (Nancy Shaheen) and Karen Ann (Robert) Albright, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters; Shirley Wilt, Marcella Madden, and Grace Soyster. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Thelma enjoyed spending time with her family, crafts, and traveling. She retired in 1995 after 27 years of service from Warnaco. Former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society, Coupon. There will be no viewing. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Altoona, Rev. Msgr. Michael Becker, Celebrant. Committal, St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon.
