Susan Nagle Obituary

Susan M. Nagle, 68, R.D. Loretto, died March 30, 2021 at home. Born January 21, 1953 in Spangler, daughter of Cyril and Theresa (Weakland) Sumner. Preceded in death by father, brother, Bill Sumner, brother in law, Dwight “Cork” Burkhart and nephew, Ethan Sumner. Survived by mother of R.D. Loretto, daughters; Dawn (Richard) Drahnak and Carrie Nagle, 4 grandchildren; Kyle, Richard ll (Megan), Ryan, and Riley (Rosalyn), brothers and sisters; Larry (Joan Conrad), Carol Burkhart, Jim (Shelly Baker), Diane Sumner, Debbie Corbett (Ralph Munoz), Sharon (Roger) Bellingar, and Paul (Jennifer Mazzocco) Adams, sister in law, Lillian Sumner and numerous nieces and nephews. Sue enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards, cooking, crocheting and she was a wonderful care giver. She worked as a cook for 45 years at Penn Gables, Ebensburg and, also worked at Central Cambria High School. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM until time of funeral Mass at 10:00 AM Monday at St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs, Rev. Brian Warchola Celebrant.
