Shirley A. Rydbom, 91, of Glasgow, formerly of Coalport, died October 3, 2023, at home. Born June 5, 1932, in Coalport, daughter of the late Joseph L. and Edith V. (Dunlap) Kutruff. Preceded in death by husband, Darrell on March 8, 2008, sons: Robert “Spanky”, and David, and two infant siblings. Survived by children: Darlene (Edwin) Phillips, Larry (Janice Olson), Terry “Rudy”, Darrell “Jamey” (Sharon Thiec), and Sheryl (Clark) Cree, 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last member of her immediate family. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and going for rides. She had owned and operated Shirley’s Restaurant in Coalport for 22 years, she then worked as a nurse’s aid for the Presbyterian Home in Philipsburg and the Glendale Elementary School cafeteria. Former member of the Glendale Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Coalport Moose Auxiliary. Shirley attended the Coalport Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, where friends will be received from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM Friday, and from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM Saturday, Rev.
