Shirley J. (McNulty) Blum

Shirley J. Blum, 88, of St. Augustine, died July 9, 2023, at UPMC Altoona. Born November 17, 1934, in Spangler, daughter of the late Eugene and Kathleen (Burley) McNulty. Preceded in death by husband Louis on April 5, 2020, son Christopher, and sister Lois McNulty. Survived by children: Lisa (Mark) Cunningham and Stephen (Barbara Bush) Blum, daughter-in-law Lori Shea, grandchildren: Ryan and Heather, brother Kenneth (Sandra) McNulty, sisters: Dorothy White, Nancy (Vernon) Johnson, and Jerri Hamaker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading and gardening. Member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Christopher’s Cure Hardship Fund, 70 S.
