Shawn Kennedy, 35, formerly of Berwinsdale, died May 30, 2024, at his residence in Clearfield. He was born July 12, 1988, in Altoona, son of Jeffrey and Kathy (Snyder) Kennedy. Preceded in death by paternal grandmother Joan (Bickford) Kennedy, maternal grandmother Clarabell (Delfosse) Snyder, and uncle William “Bink” Snyder Jr.. Survived by parents of Berwinsdale, sister Amanda (Derek) Nash and their son Finn, paternal grandfather Bill Snyder Sr., and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Shawn enjoyed spending time with friends, crafting, camping, fishing, and going to the beach. He worked at the Irvona and Clearfield Ambulance Services and several other EMS Stations, and went on to be a paramedic and registered nurse. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, R.D. LaJose. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that friends  plant a tree in Shawn’s memory.
