Sharon M. Diehl, 66, R.D. Ashville, died January 5, 2022 at home due to Covid-19 circumstances. She was born November 10, 1955 in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Stanley A. Sr. and Marie (Sisto) Trybus. Survived by husband of 48 years, Donald Diehl, whom she married August 25, 1973 in Lilly, daughter, Kristen Diehl of Ashville, son, Joseph (Vanese Urda) of Hollidaysburg, grandson, Jonah Diehl, granddaughter, Shalyn Orosz, brothers; Stanley Jr. of Lilly, Raymond (Barbara Burr) of Cresson, and Bob (Tracey Latoche) of Lilly, God Children; Justin Trybus, Zachary Trybus, and Keith Diehl. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Kim Gides and Donna Shedlock. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and shopping on line. She had worked as a cook for Penn Cambria High School for 25 years and retired in 2013. Former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coupon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville, Rev. Robert Reese, Celebrant. Committal, St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Sunday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613. Masks will be required.
