Sally L. (Sheehan) Little

Sally L. Little, 83, a resident of Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Patton, died September 11, 2023, at Garvey Manor. She was born April 23, 1940, in Patton, daughter of the late J. Ernest and Lucy M. (Strittmatter) Sheehan. Preceded in death by husband, Regis “Paul” Little on June 16, 2017. Preceded in death by great granddaughter, Aurora Little, brother, Timothy and sister, Sister Mary Sheehan IHM. Survived by children: John (Michele Wilt), Teresa (Robert) Duclos, Daniel (Jessica Ayers), Patrick, and Timothy (Jill Long), 15 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, siblings: Clara Thieling Fleitz, Dennis (Carole Charney), and Ann Hepner. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sally enjoyed square dancing, bowling, and playing cards. She received her diploma from Mercy School of Nursing, Altoona in 1965 and worked as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital, Altoona for 20 years and a substitute nurse for Cambria Heights School for a number of years. Sally was very fond of the staff at Garvey Manor. She was a Promoter for the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Auto League, the Sodality of Mary, and St. Augustine Catholic Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday, Rev. Robert Reese, Celebrant. Committal, St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 until 7 PM Thursday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, where a Vigil Service will be held at Thursday.
