Ronald J. "Jed" Jasper Obituary

Ronald “Jed” Jasper, 68, Coalport, died January 30, 2021 at home as a result of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. Born December 19, 1952 in Philipsburg, son of the late Robert “Rab” and Bernadine (Campbell) Jasper. Preceded in death by brother, William “Raz”, and sister and brother in law, Brenda Kay and Robert McClellan, who passed away as a result of the accident. Survived by sisters and brother; Sandra (the late Fred) Kruis, Gary, and Sharon Jasper (Scott Conway). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jed enjoyed watching sports on television. He worked as a laborer for Kitko Wood Products and retired in 2016. Member of the Coalport VFW Auxiliary and Coalport Moose. Friends will be received from 4 until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627, Rev. Ron Korzeniowski officiating.
