Ron “Tool Man” Greiner 83, of Patton, passed away peacefully April 19, 2024. He was born February 21, 1941, in Altoona, son of the late George and Dorothy (Holtz) Greiner. Preceded in death by brother, Richard, and sisters, Constance Greiner, and Rita Hilyer. Survived by wife of 54 years, the former Puri Lopez, whom he married May 3, 1969, in Patton, sons; George (Steph Strittmatter) Greiner of Patton and Robin Greiner of Patton. 2 grandsons; Jacob and Ryan, brother, Jerry (Barb Storm) Patton. Ron served as a SSgt. in the US Air Force during of the Vietnam Era War. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, farming, killing weeds, hunting, fishing, and his favorite time of the year was harvest- time. He was a second-generation farmer, and a self-employed tool salesman. Member of the SOI, Patton Sportsmen, and St. Augustine Catholic Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Rev. Robert Reese, Celebrant.
