Rodger Dean Helsel Jr.

Rodger Dean Helsel, 42, of Flinton, died January 31, 2024, at home. He was born June 23, 1981, in Roaring Spring. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents Pete and Violet Helsel. He is survived by a daughter, Cassidi Helsel (Gary Shope lll) of Cresson, life-long partner, Kristi McElheny of Flinton, special uncle Charley Helsel of Hollidaysburg, and special friend Daniel Kreigline of Hyndman. Rodger enjoyed spending time with his family, truck driving, working on cars with his daughter, hunting, fishing, farming, and going to gun shoots. He worked for 5 years as a truck driver for Ollinger Bros. of Altoona. Former member of American British White Park Association. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services.
