Robert Gordon Gongloff, 73, Altoona, passed away March 11, 2026 at The Preserves of Cedarwood surrounded by family. Born August 23, 1952 in Altoona, son of Richard and Catherine (Webb) Gongloff. He is preceded in death by parents; step-son, David Shaughnessy; and brothers, Paul, Jim, Dave, and John Gongloff. He is survived by loving wife of 34 years, Darlene Gongloff; children, Cathy (CJ) Gongloff and Bob (Fran) Gongloff; step-son, Patrick (Cathy) Shaughnessy; grandchildren, Ryan (Jillian), Vinny, Duncan,Marshall, Saige, Harper, Eric, and Kenny; great grandchild, Asher; and sisters, Jane Gongloff, Dot Litzinger, Betty Mento, and Helen Barlick. Robert retired from Penn Metals Fabricators as a forklift/truck driver. He enjoyed farming, classic cars, and going to the flea market. Family and friends will be received Sunday March 15, 2026 from 2 to 4pm with a service to follow at 4pm at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville, 1688 Liberty St Ashville. Interment will be held at Centre County Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville.
