Rev. David C. Hammerle

Rev. David C. Hammerle, 80, of Hollentown, died May 25, 2023, at UPMC Altoona Emergency Room. Born February 1, 1943, in Norwich, New York, son of the late Charles and Helen (Perkins) Hammerle. Preceded in death by brothers: James Hammerle and Col. Robert Hammerle (Air Force). Survived by wife, of almost 60 years, the former Gail Mosley, whom he married June 1, 1963, in Wilkes Barre, PA, children; Terry Albright (Chris Meeker) of Las Cruces, NM, and Jason (Ashley Josefic) Hammerle of Brookville, 4 grandchildren: Austin Hammerle, Karaann Hammerle, Bailey Hammerle and Quinn Hammerle. Rev. David was the last member of his immediate family. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He enjoyed hunting. Rev. David served as Pastor at the Hollentown Assembly of God Church for over 20 years. He was currently serving as a chaplain at UPMC Altoona, where he served for over 25 years. He was a member of the Parsonville Assembly of God Church. There will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Hollentown Assembly of God Church, Rev. Joseph Hollen, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Hollentown Assembly of God Church, 749 Executive Drive, Fallentimber, PA 16639 in Rev. David C.
