Ralph L. Watt, 78, Cresson, formerly of Ashville, died May 16, 2021 at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona, Born March 28, 1943 in Spangler, son of the late Thomas and Mary (Weber) Watt. Preceded in death by son, John, and brother. Roger “Bud”. Survived by children; Kim (Don) Coble of Altoona and Randy of Coupon, 3 grandchildren; John Hebler, Josh Hebler (Crystal), and Travis Hebler, 2 great grandchildren, Logan and Cyrus Hebler, brothers and sisters: Regis (Jo) Watt, Gloria (Ed) Kowalski, Doris (Jerry) Eckenrode, Carol (Ken) Haluska, and Russ (Kris) Watt, sister- in- law, Connie (Long) Watt, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ralph was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, four wheeling, fishing, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Ralph worked as a mason for many years. He was a former member of the Sankertown VFW and the Cresson Sportsmen. Friends will be received from 2 until time of the Veteran Memorial Service at 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613. Military Rites in charge of Sankertown VFW and other Local Military Organizations.
