Paul Seymour Jr. Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul C. Seymour Jr., 51, Gallitzin, on July 12, 2026. He was born December 10, 1974 in Lancaster. Paul was a man of strength, resilience, and determination. Although he lived with paralysis for many years, he faced life's challenges with courage and perseverance. He found joy in the simple things, especially hunting and fishing, and treasured time with his family and those he loved. Paul is survived by his loving mother, Edna Watt; his father, Paul C. Seymour Sr.; his stepfather, John Watt; his sister, Cyndi (Will) Michaels; his stepbrother, William (Angel) Watt; and his stepsister, Jeniene (David) Behe. He also leaves behind his cherished nephews, William (Woody) Michaels III, Timothy Michaels, Todd Michaels, Jay Michaels, Bradley Watt, and Mark (Marky) Behe; his beloved nieces, Peyton Watt, Harper Clossin, and Mayzie Clossin; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly. Paul was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clair and Mary Seymour; his maternal grandparents, Doug and Dorothy Robinson; a special uncle Sam George; his beloved nephew Johnathan (Johnny) Watt, and several beloved aunts and uncles. Paul's life was a testament to perseverance and courage. Despite the challenges he faced, he continued to enjoy the outdoors and the activities he loved. He will be remembered for his strength, his resilience, and the love he shared with those around him. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to his mother, Edna, whose unwavering love, compassion, and selfless devotion as Paul's caregiver brought him comfort, dignity, and unconditional love throughout the years. Her dedication was a reflection of a mother's immeasurable love and will forever be a cherished part of Paul's story. Though his physical presence is gone, Paul's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace. Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Watt Homestead, 354 Watt Rd. Ashville, PA 16613.
