Paul W. "Chipper" Kibler Obituary

Paul “Chipper” Kibler, 88, of Patton, died April 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born March 31, 1936, in St. Boniface, son of the late Hilary and Marcelline (Bender) Kibler. Preceded in death by infant son Paul W. Jr. on April 27, 1972, sister Ethelda Ott, and brother Duane. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Genevieve Rogal, whom he married May 9, 1959, at St. Bernards Catholic Church, Hastings, children: David (Patty McMullen), Barbara (Jim) Barnosky, Paula (Buster) Nedock, Cheryl (Drew) Thomas, and Lori (Jim) Hite, 10 grandchildren: Carl (Maggie) Brenda, Nick (Breanna), Jenna (Nate), Haley (Andrew), Tyler (Macy), Morgan (Ryan), Madison (Brad), Alex (McKenzie), and Tanner, 5 great grandchildren: Anna, Maisy, Frances, Anderson, and Kamryn, sister, Louise Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews. Chipper was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, camping, playing guitar, and piano, motorcycle riding and drinking his Genesee beer. He retired in 2000 from RNS Services as a heavy equipment operator. A life member of Drake Hollow Hunting Camp, Clinton County, and a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday by Benedictine Fathers. Committal, St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Hastings. Friends will be received from 5 until 9 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, where a Vigil Service will be held Tuesday. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com
