Patrick J. “Pat” Krug, 88, R.D. Loretto, died February 3, 2023 at UPMC Altoona. Born December 30, 1934 in R.D. Loretto, son of the late Frederick Sr. and Pearl (Stephens) Krug. Preceded in death by infant brothers; William and Wilbert , brothers; Paul, John, Del, George, Amandas, and Fred, and sisters; Olive Flick, Catherine Carter, Geraldine Gauntner, and Jean Adams. Survived by wife of 69 years, the former Jean Ann Adams, whom he married November 21, 1953 at St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs, sons; Greg (Chris Barry), and Barry (Cathy Weiland), Grandchildren; Shayne (Kim), Hayley (Travis), Chad (Joan), Kelly (Shawn), great grandchildren; Cayley, Kira, Logan, Zac, Gavin, Peyton, and Grant, sister, Isabelle (Bob) Kirkpatrick, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and playing cinch. He worked for Francis Yahner (Clearview Farms), he owned and operated a school bus, and retired as a truck driver from New Enterprise. Pat was a social member of the Loretto American Legion, and a member of the Chest Springs Sportsmen and St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, Rev. Joseph Fleming, Celebrant. Committal, St. Monica Cemetery, Chest Springs.
