Nicole M. “Nicky” DeAngelis, 38, of Ashville, died March 16, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 5, 1985, in Altoona, daughter of Lewis F. Jr. and Janice A. (Smith) DeAngelis. Preceded in death by brothers; Lewis Francis lll and Thomas Edward, paternal grandparents, Lewis F. Sr. and Marie E. (Beers) DeAngelis, and maternal grandparents, Thomas H. Sr. and Margaret M. (Mayhue) Smith. Survived by parents of Ashville, husband Adam whom she married June 4, 2011, in Ashville, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nicky earned her BS Degree in Biology and her BA Degree in History from Penn State University. She enjoyed Penn State Football, camping, and crocheting. She had worked as a Supervisor Trainer for Three Wire, Ebensburg. Nicky served on Ashville Boro Council for 16 years and as president for 8 years. She was a Nittany Lion Club member. Member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, where she was in the first class of girl altar servers, and also served as a eucharistic minister. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Thomas, Rev. Mariusz Gorazd, Celebrant. Committal St. Thomas Cemetery, Ashville.  Friends will be received from 5 until 8 PM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613.
