Mary “Grace” Weakland, 87, formerly of Chest Springs, died December 12, 2021 at Amber Hills, Ebensburg. Born March 15, 1934 in Ashville, daughter of the late Harvey and Catherine (Seymour) Wilt. Preceded in death by an infant son, brother, Harvey Jr. and sister, Leona Bem. Survived by husband, Paul “Mick” Weakland, whom she married May 10, 1952 in St. Augustine, children; David (Marlene Sutara), Donald (Deborah Biter), Janice (Joe) Kuncelman, and Patricia (Doty) McDowell, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Betty Roberts, Eileen (Pat) Beiswenger, Dolores McNulty, Norma (Francis) Hanlon, Allen (Patricia Stock) and Jim, brother in law Ed Bem, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grace enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling and camping. She had worked as a bus driver for Cambria Transportaion. Former member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday. Rev. Jerzy Auguscik Celebrant. Committal, St. Monica Cemetery.
