Mary "Patty" (Conrad) Resick

Mary “Patty” Resick, 81, Cresson, passed away September 16, 2022 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born February 3, 1941 in Altoona, daughter of the late Walter and Nora (Krise) Conrad. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph J. Resick on August 13, 2006, brothers; Clair, Ralph, Joseph, Paul, Leo, and James, sisters; Mae Truax, Ruth Barnett, Doris Lamont, Jane Sheehan, Theresa Callahan, Betty Koegler, and Shirley Delegram. Survived by children; Joseph W. (Donna Denslow) of Cresson and Carrie A. (Lewis) Wilson of Milton, DE, grandchildren; Rocco and Carleigh, brother, John “Jack” (Rose) Conrad of Chest Springs, and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired after 25 years of service from the county home, Ebensburg. The love of her life was her grandson, Rocco. When her children were young, along with her longest and dearest friend, Lois Sutton, they coached Ashville Pee Wee league, and headed the boy         scout and girl scout troops in Ashville. Patty was an avid bingo player and loved helping and taking care of others. She was a former member of St Aloysius Catholic Church choir. A member of St. Aloysius Church, Cresson, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday, Rev. Leo Arnone, Celebrant. Entombment, St. Francis Xavier Mausoleum, Cresson. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613.
