Mary Grace Noel, 92, of R.D. Gallitzin, died July 21, 2024. She was born March 23, 1932, in Loretto, daughter of the late Gilbert and Kathleen (Noel) Cox. Preceded in death by husband, James Sr. on May 7, 2020, daughter, Violet Crowley, granddaughter, Jenny Crowley, son-in-law, Dave Gessler, brothers and sisters: Emma Zeughardt, Jim, Geoge, Bert Dibble, Ruth Hincherick, and Anna Marie Risban. Survived by children: Eddie, Beki Gessler, James Jr. (Holly), and Bryon, son-in-law, Matthew Crowley, 6 grandchildren,14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, sisters: Vera Simanski and Edna Becher and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Grace enjoyed playing bingo, cards, traveling, arts and crafts and playing Mrs. Santa Claus, along with her husband Jim, as Santa Claus. Member of the Red Hats, Cresson, and St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville, Rev. Robert Reese, Celebrant. Interment, Amsbry Union Cemetery, R.D. Gallitzin. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation in Mary Grace’s memory.
