Mary Ann Doughty

Mary Ann Doughty, 71, Ashville, passed away on March 22, 2026 at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Hastings. Born August 21, 1954 in Altoona, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Holmberg) Lipple. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Gregory Lipple; brother, Donald “Bucky” Lipple, and sister, Jane Trapanotto. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Doughty; daughter, Brenda (Tim) Walker; granddaughter, Emily (Adam) DeWitt; great grandson, Logan; brothers, Tom (JoAnne), Dan (Deb), Rick (Terry), and John Lipple; and sisters, Lois Eger, Kate Klepser, Cindy Rolston, Jean (Mark) Little, and Joan (Dennis) Leverett. Mary retired from the VA Hospital as a nurse's aide. She was a member of the Ashville VFW Ladies Auxiliary. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10 am at St Thomas Aquinas Church. Rev. Justin Treon celebrant. Interment at St. Thomas Cemetery, Ashville.
