Mary Christine Crum, 76, Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Loretto, died June 4, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital, Fort Myers, FL. Born April 8, 1945 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Arthur F. Jr. and Margaret E. (Deasy) Crum. Preceded in death by daughters; Catherine J. “Katie” Koegler and Therese C.M. Koegler, sister, Joan Crum and brother, Arthur F. Crum lll. Survived by former husband, Stephen "Mike" Koegler Sr. of Loretto, children; Stephen M. “Mike” Jr. (Dawn Donohue) Koegler of Hershey, Margaret E. “Lisa” Polite of Cape Coral, FL, Paul V. (Karen Arista) Koegler of Lake Worth, FL, Brian L. Koegler of Palmyra, and Ann M. (William “Bill”) Koss of Revloc, grandchildren; Michael, Briana, Samantha, Alexandra, Christina, Britany, Joshua, Megann, Matthew, and William “BJ” Jr., several great grandchildren, and sister in law, Nancy Crum of Austin, TX. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Mary enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and passed that Irish Pride on to her children and grandchildren. Mary was a devout Catholic with a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother and was a secular member of the Franciscan Third Order Rite. She was known in Punta Gorda to stop and pray with members of the military when they would be around. She loved all animals, enjoyed reading and participating in various conservative political and religious activities. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto at 11:00 AM, Friday, Very Rev. John D. Byrnes, Celebrant. Committal, St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto. Friends will be received from 2 until 5 PM Thursday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613 where a Vigil Service will be held Thursday.
