Martha M. Jasper, 76, Coalport, died November 10, 2022 at UPMC Altoona. Born June 2, 1946 in Coalport, daughter of the late Melvin and (Dorothy) Simmers) Helsel. Preceded in death by step mother, Georgia Helsel, infant granddaughter, Jaden Jasper, brother, Melvin “Pete” Helsel and sister, Dorothy Bush. Survived by husband of 57 years, William Jasper Sr., whom she married July 10, 1965 in Coalport, children; Betty Jo (Don) Renninger, Fonetta (Ken) Gates, William Jr. (Beth Srock) Jasper, twins, Daniel (Danita Dunchuck) Jasper, and Dennis (Lorri Ryen) Jasper, and Scott (Kristen Heitsenrether) Jasper, 12 grandchildren; Ken (Saleigh) Gates, Michael (Kayla) Srock, Timothy (Justine) Gates, Zachary (Miranda) Jasper, Natasha Renninger, Jacob Jasper, Aubrey Jasper, Grace Jasper, Justin Jasper, Garrett Jasper, DJ Jasper, and Arianna Jasper, 8 great grandchildren; Annazella Smeal, Kenton Gates, Aleah Humberson, Bryleigh Gates, Amelia Srock, Ryelle Gates, Gatlin Gates, Sawyer Srock, and a great granddaughter due in December, a sister, Alice Blake and brother, Robert (Norma) Helsel. Marty enjoyed spending time with her family, she had a special place in her heart for everyone in her family, along with nicknames for all her kids and grandchildren. She enjoyed going for Sunday rides with her husband Bill, and always took pictures of wildlife and sunsets to share with her family. Marty was a member of the Coalport Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until time of funeral Service at noon Monday at the Coalport C & MA Church, Rev. Duane White officiating. Committal, Beaver Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Coalport C & MA Church in Marty’s memory.
