Marie “Bernie” Market, 73, of Cresson, died December 28, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born December 22, 1949 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of Robert and Alice (McVicker) Slattery. Preceded in death by mother, brothers; John Slattery and Robert Slattery Jr., and nephew, Lenny McConnell Jr. Survived by father of Cresson, siblings; James Slattery of Cresson, Annie (Lenny) McConnell of Cresson and Patrick Slattery Sr. of Liberal KS, 6 nieces and nephews; Travis Slattery (fiancé, Vicki Roudybush), Mary Katherine Slattery, Mandi (Mike) Huff, Pat Slattery Jr., Candace Slattery, and Harley Slattery, several great nieces and nephews, an aunt, Lenora Niles of Alexandria, VA, and numerous cousins. Bernie cherished the time she spoke on the phone with Gabie, Heidi, cousin, Pam, and aunt, Lenora. She was a very talented quilter and belonged to the Trinity Stitchers of Juniata.
