Margaretta "Peggy" (Ginter) Grimes

Margaretta “Peggy” Grimes, 80, Lyleville, died May 15, 2022 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Altoona. Born June 18, 1941 in Lyleville, daughter of the late Lloyd and Sara (Peno) Ginter. Preceded in death by son, Robert “Bubba” on October 15, 2011, and sister in law, Jolene Ginter. Survived by daughter, Mary Kay (Joe) Dick of Lyleville, 5 grandchildren; Sarah, R.J., Emily, Timothy, and Karly, 4 great grandchildren, brother, Richard Ginter of Lyleville, and nephew, Darren (Amy) Ginter. Peggy enjoyed volunteering at the Coalport Library and traveling. She had worked at Leyo’s IGA, Coalport, Phar Mor, Altoona and Skills, Clearfield. Member of the Coalport Presbyterian Church where she had served as a Deacon. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until time of funeral service at 8 PM Thursday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, Pastor Rick Ginter, brother of the deceased officiating.
