Margaret “Peg” Passanita, 82, Dysart, passed away March 28, 2021 at the home of her daughter and son in law, Martina and Mark Zeanchock of Carrolltown. Born October 30, 1938 in Sankertown, daughter of the late Blaine Graham and Evelyn Ebig. Preceded in death by former husband, Ron Passanita, infant son, John, daughter, Theresa Williams, sisters, Nancy Strittmatter and Darlyne Gorba, and brother, Greg Conrad. Survived by children; Ron (Brenda Krise) of Altoona, Shelly (Kevin) Laffey of Billerica, Mass., Nina (Stan) Kimberly of Flinton, Michael (Dan Moyer) of Roseland, and Martina (Mark) Zeanchock of Carrolltown, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, she’s also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last member of her immediate family. Peg enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, spending time with friends and telling jokes, dancing and bird watching. She had worked as a van driver for Area Agency on Aging, Ebensburg for 26 years. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. Former member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, and member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 10, 2021, Rev.
