Luke S. Francisco

Luke Francisco, 43, of Loretto, died January 27, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 28, 1981, in Tyrone, son of Stephen and Nancy (Petrof) Francisco. Surviving are his parents of Madera, his wife, the former Jill Bender, whom he married September 15, 2018, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, daughters: Carley and Olivia Francisco, sister, Heather (Eric) Sacharczyk, brother, Thad (Nicole) Francisco. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Michkayla, Kendall, Brooks, and Morgan Sacharczyk, and Dominic and Landon Francisco, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Anyone who had ever met Luke knew that he was a kind-hearted, loving guy who would do anything for a friend. He had a deep love for his family, always working to provide for them and be there in any way needed. Luke loved the outdoors, always willing to share his knowledge of hunting and fishing with the next generation. Luke was a wonderful man and friend to all he met. He worked at the Federal Prison, Loretto for 10 years as a cook/supervisor. Member of the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, Very Rev. John D. Byrnes, Celebrant. Committal, Church Cemetery.
