Louise “Weezie” Eckenrode, 65, Chest Springs, died January 14, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born November 9, 1955 in Spangler, daughter of Ralph and Mary (Cretin) Farabaugh. Preceded in death by sister, Theresa Storm on December 6, 2020. Survived by husband of 46 years, George, whom she married September 20, 1974 in Loretto, children; Brian (Susan Burkhart), Amanda (John) Weiland, and Christine (Ben) Grove, 8 grandchildren; Julia, Samuel, Isaac, Mitchell, Rebecca, Jordyn, Jacob and Andrew, sister of: Cindy (Fred) Gailey Sr., Donna (Tom) Berg, Ralph Jr. (Roberta Nagle), Priscilla Perehinec, Gerald (Joan Shaffer), Justina (Chris) Bodle, brother in law, Ed Storm, and numerous nieces and nephews. Louise loved spending time with her grandchildren, she enjoyed taking day trips with the company of her special friends, her flower garden and mowing the lawn, spending time with family and friends at the cabin, and riding her bike with her Dad. She, along with her husband George, owned and operated Eckenrode Drywall. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto. Committal, St. Monica Cemetery, Chest Springs.
