Lorraine M. (Briggs) Matish Obituary

Lorraine M. Matish, 94, formerly of Dysart, died March 8, 2023 at Guardian Healthcare- Hillview, Altoona. Born March 4, 1929 in Dysart, daughter of the late Elmer and Inez (Cavalet) Briggs. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph R. Matish Sr. on December 19, 1998, son Joseph Jr., granddaughter, Christine Hertzog, sisters: Johanna Simanski Lingenfelder and Dorothy Passanita. Survived by sons: Larry (Diana Hale) and Bruce (Brenda Franko), all of R.D. Gallitzin, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters: Vivian LeBlanc of Niagara Falls, NY, and Irene Hertzog of Gallitzin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing bingo. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services.
