Lois J. Lightner, 84, formerly of Rosebud, R.D. Coalport, died August 27, 2024, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation Center, Altoona. She was born January 2, 1940, in Irvona, daughter of the late David and Nora (Gallaher) O’ Shell. Preceded in death by husband Ronald C. on May 23, 2013, infant son, Ronald C Jr., daughter, LuAnn Karry, siblings: Mabel Straw, Arnold O’Shell, and Matilda Spaid. Survived by daughter, Ronda (Bob Jr.) Shepler of Coalport, grandchildren: Bobby (Taylor) Shepler lll, Ryan Lightner, Kimberly Shepler, and Garret Garber, great-granddaughter, Sadie Shepler, brothers: Paul (Sharon) O’Shell of Cherry Tree, and Guy (Audrey) O’Shell of Clearfield. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lois enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing bingo. Member of the Coalport Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
