Lewis P. “Lou” Adams, 90, Coupon, died December 18, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. Born July 7, 1930 in Buckhorn, son of the late Samuel M. and Ella A. (Miller) Adams. Preceded in death by brothers; Sam and John Sr. Survived by wife of 66 years, the former Virginia “Jean” Delozier whom he married October 2, 1954 in Coupon, children; Deb (Dan) Lipple and Jim (Denise Cooper) all of Coupon, 2 grandchildren; Maureen (Brian) Jacobs and Anthony (Amber Pyo), 5 great grandchildren; Valerie, Zachary, Caroline, Anthony and Grace, and sister-in-law, Joan (Angeski) Adams. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lew was the last member of his immediate family. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing the lottery. He had worked as a purchasing agent for Force Industrial, Altoona and retired in 1992. Former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coupon. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Rev. Albert Ledoux, celebrant. Committal, St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon. Military Rites in charge of Local Military Organizations. Due to the covid situation visitation will be private.
