Larry G. Edelblute Obituary

Larry G. Edelblute, 74, Altoona, died November 30, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. Born September 23, 1946 in Philipsburg, son of the late James Franklin and Dora Mae (Dillon) Edelblute. Preceded in death by brother, James, sisters; Betty Killion, Joyce Diantoniis, Ruth Massini, Dorothy Wilson and Donna Gasparri. Larry’s is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his close friend and caregiver, Bob “Bo” Counsman Jr. He was a 1964 graduate of Altoona High School. He earned his B.S. degree from Penn State University. Upon graduation, he taught German at Lanope High School in Central Bucks School District in Doylestown until 1984. He was a valued board member of the Coalport Museum Commission. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or service. Committal, Utahville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coalport Museum (CACMC) P.O.
