Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613. The following memory will resonate with how Keri was with everyone she knew. Memories are flipping through my head as I Pray… and it’s all Keri… if not for her, we would have no idea how to catch a ball, swing a bat, ride a bike, drive a car… The overwhelming realization is that she taught us one of the most important things a Christian needs to know… how to do good and do right, but to be humble about it. She never wanted recognition for jobs well done… or thank you’s for absolutely EVERYTHING she did for all of us. But she did it with love and Grace… like it wasn’t a big deal to just be a good human. What a blessing… Your experience with Keri may not have included, catch, or a car, but Keri cared enough in her interactions to ensure you knew how to do it well. She wouldn’t want any of us to be sad for her. She would have an encouraging word or inspirational gesture if she were with us. Keri will be missed, but how Keri lived and impacted our lives will carry on, and by the Grace of God, we can have a similar impact on someone, the way Keri impacted us. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, in Keri’s memory. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com
