Kenneth J. “Case” McCormick, 82, Fallentimber, died November 28, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Born September 27, 1940 in Duncanville, son of the late Joseph L. Sr. and Pauline G. McCormick. Preceded in death by wife, the former Patricia Chiappini on April 18, 2005, brother, Joseph L. Jr. and sister, Mona Bomgardner. Survived by children; Jeffrey, Michael Shawn (Mary), Donna, and Becky (Randy) Hibshman, grandchildren; R.J., Curtis (Abby), Crystal Dawn (Luke), Sabrina (Kevin), Dalton, Riley, Bryce, Kenneth “Bubba”, Zachary (Alyssa) Kody (Cierra), and Samantha, great grandchildren; Cailin, Savannah, and Delilah Rose, brothers, Gerald (Barbara), and Bill, and sister, Norma McCormick. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his dogs; Gibbs, Jingles, and Katie. Case was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era War. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Altoona. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM Friday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627, Rev. Robert Witherow, officiating. Interment will be at Canoe Creek Cemetery, Hollidaysburg. Military Rites in charge of Coalport VFW. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans in Case’s memory.
