Kathryn L. Baker, 81, of Cresson, died November 3, 2024, at home. She was born October 25, 1943, in Hastings, daughter of the late Bernard and Mildred (Burkey) Thomas. Preceded in death by husband, Martin on April 14, 2021, grandson, Jimmy Yohn (killed in action during the Iraq war), son-in-law, Robert Fisher, and sister, Rosemary. Survived by children: Bernard “Butch” (Michelle Boyer), Julia Fisher, Patrick (Debbie Holliday), and Deneen (Dewey) Noland, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister of: Larry, Ron, Whitey, Rege, Marilyn, Patty, Judy, Shirley, and Dick. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Kathyrn enjoyed going to church bingo. She was a member of the Legion of Mary and St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday Rev. Leo Arnone, Celebrant. Committal, St. Bonifice Cemetery. Friends will be received from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM Wednesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613.
