Karen L. Bruce, 57, of Duncansville, died May 7, 2023, at home surrounded by family. Born May 19, 1965, in Altoona, daughter of Fred Snyder and Betty (Detwiler) Markel. Preceded in death by father, and sister Gloria Snyder. Survived by mother of Hollidaysburg, husband of 33 years, Ed Bruce, whom she married June 17, 1989, in Hollidaysburg, daughters: Samantha (Tyler) Wertz and Ashley (Ethan) Wilt, 4 granddaughters, sister, Lorie (Dave) Stoehr and several nieces and nephews. Karen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM Thursday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, Very Rev.
