Joseph G. Blake Sr., 68, Coalport, died March 21, 2023. He was born December 26, 1954 in Spangler, son of the late Joseph B. and Dorothy B. (Kutruff) Blake. Preceded in death by his partner, Linda Jeffries, brothers: Victor Blake, Rick Blake, John Ross, Rex Ross, Fred Ross, Jim Ross, and Randy Blake, and sisters: Enna Mae Swope and Helen Sue Blake. Survived by son, Joseph ll (Melissa) Blake of Bellwood, 4 grandchildren, step-children: Donna (Mark) Peterson of Glasgow, Steve (Julie) Meckley of Calieo, VA, and Jeff Meckley of Duncansville, brothers: Raymond Blake of Chantilly, VA, and Ben (Missy) Blake of Coalport, sister, Shelly Benson of Virginia Beach, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe enjoyed rock music. He had worked as a lead carpenter for numerous construction companies. Joe was a member of the Beaver Valley United Methodist Church. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
