John “Johnny” Rieg, 53, of Chest Springs, died October 11, 2024. He was born January 25, 1971, in Altoona, he is the son of Jack and Elayne (Kelly) Rieg of Chest Springs. Survived by sister, Misty (Rob) Keith, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Johnny worked at the Duncansville Mail Distribution Center for many years. Johnny was an organ donor. There will be no viewing. Member of the Chest Springs Sportsman’s Club, Loretto American Legion, Ashville VFW, and St. Monica’s Catholic Church, Chest Springs. Friends will be received from 10AM until time of memorial Mass at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Monica Catholic Church, Rev. Mariusz Gorazd and Rev. Leonard Voytek concelebrating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Monica Catholic Church in Johnny’s memory.
