John "Bill" Reilly Obituary

John “Bill” Reilly, 84, of Coalport, died June 13, 2024, at UPMC Altoona. He was born October 31, 1939, in Coalport, son of the late Jack and Agnes (Montgomery) Reilly. He was preceded in death by sisters: Ruth McGoff, Ann Palmer, and Barb Baker. Survived by wife, the former Margie Fundanish, whom he married June 5, 1976, in Coalport, daughter Kristen Reilly, sister Louise (Alan) Lovell, brother Joe Reilly and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill served in the US Army Reserves. He enjoyed fishing, and was an avid Pirate fan. He was a self-employed truck driver for over 45 years, and his call handle was “Turkey Hunter”. Bill was a 3rd degree member of the St. Basil Council, Knights of Columbus, and an active member of St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday, Rev. Zab Amar and Rev. Jason Feigh concelebrants. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, where a rosary will be recited by the Knights of Columbus and a Vigil Service will be held. Committal, Utahville Cemetery.
