John A. Dworak

John Dworak, 61, of Dysart, died February 13, 2025, at home. He was born May 27, 1963, in Altoona, son of the late Alvin “Abby” and Mary Winifred (Grimes) Dworak. He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Westover on June 30, 2020, aunts: Geraldine Grimes, Bernice Grimes, Regina Gibbons, Coletta Landon, and Betty Hale, and uncle, Telford Grimes. He is survived by his niece, Kristy Adams (Tom Baker), and uncle, Merle (Ruth Dumbeck) Grimes, special cousin, Dan (Janet Palmer) Grimes, and numerous other cousins. John enjoyed welding, auto repair, and racing at Daytona. He was a fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. He was a truck driver and worked for Cooney Brothers Coal, Penn Dot, and Matthews Mail Truck. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
