Jodee Carlson, 50, Coalport, died October 21, 2021 at UPMC Montifiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born July 3, 1971 in DuBois, daughter of Joseph and Joyce (Wingrove) Baranick. Preceded in death by sister, Sonya Baranick. Survived by parents of Reynoldsville, husband James, whom she married May 8, 2020 in Clearfield, children; Tia Baranick (Tony Charles), Chase Slima, Afton Slima, and Thaddeus Slima, a granddaughter, MaKenna, step children; Dustyn and Mackenzie (Mady), step grandchildren; Suni and Nash, brother, Shawn Baranick, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jodee enjoyed knitting, baking, motorcycle rides, being out on the side by side, boating, fishing, and shooting guns. She had worked for 18 years as a personal care aide for Christ the King Manor, DuBois, UPMC Altoona and the Bayada Agency, State College. Friends will be received from 2 until 4 PM and 6 until time of funeral service at 8 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627. Rev. Isaac Stuart officiating.
