Jerry L. Sharp, 86, R.D. Loretto, died May 31, 2021 at The Villa Crest, Johnstown. Born September 30, 1934 in Loretto, son of the late Leo and Mary (Dibble) Sharp. Preceded in death by wife, the former Shirley Wyland on August 8, 2007. Survived by children; David “Bud” (Bernadette “Bern” McConnell), Denise “Sis” (Ron) Ramsey, Donald “Snoop” (Amy Hollen), Deb (Don) George and Donna (Mike) Vena, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one to be born in January, brothers; Joe (Audrey Wyland) and Bob (Kathy Moreland). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was an Army Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, hunting and camping. Jerry worked as small engine repairman for many years. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or visitation.  Member of the 3 C’s & B Bee Keeper Organization. He attended the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Loretto, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday, Very Rev. John D. Byrnes, Celebrant. Committal, St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Loretto Volunteer Fire Company in Jerry’s memory.
