James E. Rudy, 89, Altoona, died March 12, 2021 at Cambridge Ebensburg Senior Living. Born June 3, 1931 in Huntingdon, son of the late Ray and Minnie (Shetrom) Rudy. Preceded in death by wife, the former Joyce Butterbaugh on November 5, 1994. Survived by daughters; Karen (Roy) Geiser, Susan Rudy (John Donaldson), and Debra Nelen, 5 grandchildren; Gregory (Dana) Geiser, Jamey Luther, James Tubo, Jeffrey Tubo, and Paul (Tracey) Nelen, 7 great grandchildren; Adelyn, Lincoln, Rosalie, Kyiah, Jobe, Kyndra and Logan. Jim was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked in the composing department at the Altoona Mirror for over 20 years. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or service.
